From the S.Croce sanctuary there are medium difficulty tracks leading you up S.Croce Rock.
Here are the traditional ways to reach Contourines, la Varella, la Punata Cavallo
e la cima Dieci.

All excursions start at "La Crusc" pilgrimage, which can be reached via the Santa Croce chairlift from Badia, and the connecting La Crusc chairlift.
To reach both Punta Cavallo and Cima Dieci you follow attrezzato departing from the
Sanctuary, up. Medesc forcella. Then youn turn left on the track that leads to
Punta Cavallo Close to the ...on the left you reach after a short ferrata Cima Dieci.
Lavarella Cime and Conturines can be reached by turning right at Forcella Medes.
First you arrive at Cima Lavarella, then you di seguito on a steep track straight to
forcella settentrionale. There after a short ferrata you reach cima Conturunes always
walking on the right This track is pretty difficult and for export climbers.
On your way back you can go the same way or going through on your way to Pederù or the
Apine hut in San Cassiano/Armentarola. You can enjoy Fanes Valley.
