For those who do not ski, the Santa Croce area offers a number of alternative activities such as snowshoeing, touring with skins, sledding and walking trails. Especially on the Armentara plateau, which connects Santa Croce with La Valle, it’s easy to encounter people on skins or snowshoes enjoying the peace and tranquility of the mountains, far from life’s stressors. The path that starts in San Cassiano/Rüdeferia and leads to Santa Croce is also very popular with trekkers on foot or on skins. |
