The new theme walk “Tracking Wild Animals” starts at Rifugio Lee, which is located at the mountain station near the Santa Croce chairlift, path n. 7/A. The charming path passes through the forest with a quite even slope and arrives at the alpine lake Lè, about 400 m away. On the path, you will encounter sculptures of wild animals such as the eagle, owl and bear that have been carved out of pine and larch wood with a chainsaw by a South Tyrolean artist. The trail is designed to awaken the curiosity of children and adults and is suitable for strollers. |

SUMMER EVENTS 2013: STAMP COLLECTING GAME FOR CHILDREN: STAMP COLLECTING GAME WITH PRESENT All children can pick up a map for the stamp collecting game free of charge at the Santa Croce chairlift or Rifugio Lee. Along the theme walk “Tracking Wild Animals”, children will find stamps located next to the wooden animal sculptures. Stamp the map with each imprint next to the track of the animal depicted. After having correctly collected all the stamps on the map, take the map to personnel at Rifugio Lee or the Santa Croce chairlift. Staff members will check the map and give children a gift as recognition for successfully completing the map and to remember their theme walk adventure. You can play, too! FOR YOUNG PEOPLE - new summer 2013: TREASURE HUNT All interested persons may take part in the treasure hunt, placed along the theme walk. After having reached the treasure, you can get a surprise by the staff of the lifts Santa Croce or the Lee Hut. |
